These biscotti are not too sweet and easy to make. You do not have to use the bourbon but it does give it a little something extra. You can also drizzle melted butterscotch on them, but remember that will make them sweeter.

Ingredients

  • white sugar: 1 cup
  • eggs: 3 piece
  • unsalted butter: 0.5 cup (softened)
  • Bourbon whiskey: 0.25 cup
  • vanilla extract: 1 tsp
  • all-purpose flour: 3 cups (plus more for dusting)
  • baking powder: 1 Tbsp
  • butterscotch chips: 1 cup (coarsely chopped)
  • pecans: 0.75 cup (coarsely chopped)
  • egg, beaten (for egg wash): 1 piece
