Forget trying to roll the cabbage rolls. I tried this once and realized that I didn't need to spend all that time making the rolls because they ended up looking the same on the plate anyways.

Ingredients

  • vegetable oil: 1 Tbsp
  • ½ pounds ground beef: 1 piece
  • onions: 2 piece (chopped)
  • water: 1 cup
  • tomato sauce: 1 can (14 ounce can)
  • clove garlic: 1 piece (minced)
  • salt: 1 tsp
  • pinch ground black pepper: 1 piece
  • white rice: 0.5 cup
  • cabbage: 4 cups (shredded)
  • slices bacon: 8 piece

  2. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease an 8x12-inch baking dish.
