These ground beef stroganoff noodles are a shortcut version of classic beef stroganoff in a one-pan version. The ultimate comfort food with flavorful ground beef, mushrooms, and egg noodles.

Ingredients

  • unsalted butter: 1 Tbsp
  • vegetable oil: 1 Tbsp
  • mushrooms: 1 cup (thinly sliced)
  • salt, plus more: 1 tsp (to taste)
  • onion: 0.5 cup (diced)
  • ground beef: 1 pound
  • black pepper: (freshly ground)
  • pinch cayenne pepper: 1 piece
  • garlic: 2 clove (minced)
  • ⅓ tablespoons flour: 1 piece
  • vodka: 2 Tbsp (optional)
  • ½ cups beef broth: 2 piece (or as needed)
  • water: 1 cup
  • ½ cups egg noodles: 2 piece
  • sour cream, plus more: 0.5 cup (for serving)
  • sliced chives or green onions: 2 Tbsp (fresh)

  2. Melt butter and oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms, season with salt, and saute, stirring occasionally, until they turn golden brown, 5 to 10 minutes. ALLRECIPES / SONIA BOZZO
