Delicious dough with poppy seeds, fantastic cream and fresh aromatic strawberries… Is there anything better than such a stunning dessert? It is also easy to cook and you can make either 6 small tartlets or 1 large tart in less than no time! Try the recipe right away to enjoy its fantastic taste!  


  • butter : 115 g (of a room temperature)
  • sugar : 50 g
  • lemon zest : 2 Tbsp
  • poppy seeds : 1 Tbsp
  • salt : 0.25 tsp
  • flour : 145 g
  • cream cheese : 350 g
  • honey : 3 Tbsp (can be replaced with sugar powder)
  • lemon juice : 1 Tbsp
  • strawberries : 300 g
  • mint : 1 bunch

  1. Mill sugar into powder.

  2. Add butter, salt and 1 tablespoon of lemon zest.

  3. Then add flour and 1 tablespoon of poppy seeds. Knead the dough well to get crumble.

  4. Spread the dough above each tartlet. If you wish, you can take one large baking form around 24 cm in diameter to cook a tart instead of six small tartlets.

  5. Bake the tartlets in the pre-heated to 200 C (392 F) oven for about 15 minutes until they become golden.

  6. Now, lets’ cook the cream. Mix cream cheese with sugar powder (or honey), lemon zest and lemon juice. Whip smooth cream. Then wash the strawberries, peel them and cut into leaf-shaped slices. Fill the tartlets with cream, decorate with strawberries and mint leaves. Serve and enjoy the dessert!
