Great Japanese teriyaki-style marinated ribeye steak with a from-scratch teriyaki sauce.

Ingredients

  • soy sauce: 2 Tbsp
  • water: 2 Tbsp
  • white sugar: 1 Tbsp
  • honey: 1.5 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce: 1.5 tsp
  • distilled white vinegar: 1.25 tsp
  • olive oil: 1 tsp
  • onion powder: 0.25 tsp
  • garlic powder: 0.25 tsp
  • ground ginger: 0.125 tsp
  • lean beef rib eye steaks: 2 piece (6 ounce)

  1. Whisk together the soy sauce, water, sugar, honey, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, olive oil, onion powder, garlic powder, and ground ginger in a large bowl. Pierce steaks several times with a fork. Marinate steaks in soy sauce mixture for at least 2 hours.
