This whipped cream frosting is yummy and very stable. It does not melt at room temperature like many standard whipped cream frostings. It also makes a great dip for fresh fruit — not too sweet, just right! This recipe is great for a stand mixer but any good mixer will work.

Ingredients

  • reduced-fat cream cheese: 1 pack (8 ounce pack, softened)
  • white sugar: 0.5 cup
  • vanilla extract: 1 tsp
  • almond extract: 0.5 tsp
  • heavy cream: 2 cups

  1. Combine cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and almond extract in the bowl of a stand mixer. Mix with the whisk attachment on medium speed until smooth.
